The Fenton Fitness & Athletic Center Barbell Club is for any member who is motivated by getting stronger both mentally and physically, through training on the big 3 lifts (squat, bench, and deadlift). Members of the Barbell Club will train together to compete in local USAPL (USA Powerlifting) meets throughout the year. Competing is not mandatory, but is encouraged.
Members will receive a customized training program with interactive Google Drive access for daily/weekly input and program adjustments from Program Director Jeff Tirrell (two time USAPL State Champion, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Pn1 Nutrition Coach). The customized training will include 1-4 workouts per week based on members’ goals and schedules.
Members will also receive coaching from Jeff at up to 3 meets per year (within 90 minutes of Fenton Fitness), 1-3 powerlifting workout per week, a customized nutrition plan, and 1 Saturday or Sunday workout with technique emphasis per month.
